We have had a fabulous start to the new school year. The nursery children have been learning lots of nursery rhymes and are becoming more confident in reciting them. Our favourite ones are Incy Wincy Spider, Hickory Dickory Dock, Humpty Dumpty and Horsey Horsey. We have been working very hard doing lots of activities for our Nursery Rhyme displays.
Miss Fields and I are very proud of our children especially for their Harvest Performance. Our Harvest Festivals were very successful with all the children taking part in a 20 minute performance. Thank you to everyone for supporting it.
During our wiggle and giggle sessions the children have been learning to move in a variety of ways, as well as stopping and starting they have been wriggling, scuttling and jumping .
We have enjoyed exploring lots of activities including splashing in puddles, painting with our hands and mixing colours to make new colours.
During the half term we have been looking at Autumn and the changing colours of the Leaves, the Conkers and Acorns. We have also used natural materials for counting and for our creative activities.
