For homework this week you need to design a poster to present our Class Talking Rules. The winner will have his/her work displayed in class for everyone to follow. The rules we decided on are:
· Look and listen to the person who is talking.
· Concentrate on what is being said.
· Stay on topic.
· Everyone should have the chance to talk.
· Ask questions to make sure you understand.
· The whole group is responsible for success.
· Give reasons for your opinion.
· Change your mind if you hear a better argument.
· Talk for as long as needed and then come to a decision.
· Use a volume that matches the task.

For homework this week you need to look on the website www.readformyschool.com and, for one of the books you have read recently, write a book review. This could come in many different forms, make sure you are creative with your response.

The second is the bookmark challenge for World Book Day. This can be made in any shape and from any material so let your imaginations go wild.
