You can drop your children off between 7.45am and 8.00am (no later than 8.00am or they won’t have time for breakfast). The children have breakfast and then are ready for the start of the school day. This is to help our working parents and for those children who might fancy a ‘social chat’ over breakfast. School staff (Mrs Witty and Mrs Pashley) run and supervise the children.
We serve a variety of food and drink for breakfast, varying on different days. We plan to include various food and drink, these might include, cereal, toast, pikelets, pitta breads, cereal bars, fruit, yoghurt, fruit juice and milk. This will all help us to meet our aim of a healthy start to the day for the children.
Each session costs £2. This will need to be paid on arrival each day or can be paid at the beginning of the week.
The children can attend for odd days when you have something on, or on a regular basis. You will need to book your child(ren) in for sessions, and need to let Caroline know in the office the day before as there is a limit to how many children we can cater for. If you are interested in using the Breakfast Club, please contact the office for a booklet and complete an information sheet with your children’s details.
After School Club
Secret Garden (a local Day Nursery) run an after school club. Children are collected from school at 3.00pm and are taken to the Day Nursery at Ealand where they are supervised until 6.00pm. They are provided with a light tea and activities.
If you are interested in using the After School Club, please contact either Secret Garden or the office for a leaflet.
There are also several Child Minders in Crowle and Ealand, please see the North Lincolnshire website for an up to date list.
Extra Curricular Activities
We offer a great variety of enrichment activities, trying to cater for a range of interests and age groups. Some activities are at lunchtime and others after school. The types of activities offered have included scrabble, atelier, netball, football, keep fit, sewing, recorders, choir, cyber club and French (to name a few), these are changed each term. We are very fortunate that our school staff give up their time to run these sessions, the amount on offer shows their dedication to our children.
Please see Caroline in the office if your child would like to join in with a club.
