Welcome to the class page of the Snowy Owls!
Our class teacher is Mrs Durrant, our assistant teacher is Mrs Lovell and our wonderful TA is Miss Bailey.
The topics for the summer term are 'Eureka', a history topic that focusses on Ancient Greece and 'Amazing Me', a science topic that focusses on the amazing things our bodies do to keep us alive and upright! Our music this half term will link with Ancient Greece and we will sing and compose songs linked to a love story of Paris and Helen of Troy.
RE will focus on 'Encounters' which touches on aspects of religious buildings, belonging to a faith and rituals.
For our final half term in PE will be outdoors as much as the weather permits us! We will be looking at further athletic skills as well as racket and ball games.
Our PE days are Tuesdays (indoor/outdoor where possible) and Wednesdays (outdoor).
Please ensure your child's PE kit is in school on these days.
Your child will have their reading book checked on Mondays and changed on Tuesdays. Please ensure their book is in school on these days. We aim for your child to read to an adult at home at least 3 times a week
. Please ensure this is recorded in their reading record. We appreciate your support in ensuring this is achieved each week.
Homework will appear on this class page at the beginning of each week. It will be officially set on Thursday's and due the following Tuesday in order to allow time to give feedback on the previous week's homework.
This weeks certificate winners were:
