We will be thinking carefully about remembering spaces between words and using capital letters and full stops.

This week in maths we will be subtracting and adding around our minibeast theme and writing number sentences.  We will also be practising our number formation.

In phonics we will be revising previously taught digraphs and trigraphs. We will also be learning strategies to read two-syllable words. We will be learning the alphabet (letter names) using games and an alphabet song. We shall also be applying our skills in reading and writing simple sentences containing CVCC and CCVC words. Our tricky words this week are
little  are  when  out one

(We are now trying to spell these in our writing too).
