I have been a teacher at Crowle Primary Academy for 22 years. I started on supply after finishing my degree and have never left! My time at Crowle has seen me get married and have my own son, Lewis, who thoroughly enjoyed his time at our school (maybe because he never had me as his teacher!).
I became a staff governor about 2 years ago as I felt I had a lot of experience to bring, not only teaching experience but also a good understanding of what makes our community tick, as I have lived here for nearly 20 years and I now call Crowle 'home'.
The best part of being our staff governor is that I can be the voice of everyone who works in our school and be the link we need between the 'coal face' and the governing body.
