It was another enjoyable half term with lots of things happening.
In English, the children have loved studying Macbeth. From hotseating to writing newspaper reports, we have analysed how the plot and characters developed. I have been impressed at the children's enthusiasm.
In maths, we continued to strive for excellence in our arithmetic and in addition the main topics covered were geometry, shape and angles.
Electricity was the theme in science, and the children have enjoyed investigating circuits and switches as well as finding and fixing faults.
We have continued our active learning including skipping and running regularly. In PE Y5 enjoyed their swimming sessions and the children have also participated in dance and games lessons.
Our trip to Young Voices was well attended and the children really enjoyed the experience, behaving extremely well throughout.
