When to self isolate and what to do
Covid-19 Guidance
The guidance remains that if your child is displaying on of the following symptoms;
- A high temperature - this means they feel hot to touch on their chest or back (you do not need to measure their temperature)
- A new continuous cough
- A loss or change to their sense of smell or taste
They should not attend school, isolate straight away and booka PCR test.
Your children should also self isolate if;
- They have tested positive for COVID-19
- You have been told they have to self isolate by the test and trace system.
Further details of this can be found following the link below
NHS - when to self isolate and what to do.
You should also book your child a test. If the results are negative your child can return to school.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you wholeheartedly for your understanding and ongoing support in helping us to manage this unprecedented situation.
Please take care and look after yourselves.
