Eagle busy week

Another jam-packed week for year 6! 

This week, we have been busy in maths, studying angles in triangles and quadrilaterals. Tomorrow, we will tackle angles in any polygon and learn about the features of a circle!

In reading, we are focusing on SATs preparation bu tackling some comprehension texts with our partners. We have seen some great discussions and teamwork, well done! In grammar this week, we have consolidated our learning on the active and passive voice and today we learnt about determiners. 

PE has been a highlight again this week - in fitness, the children continue to push themselves, this week focusing on speed and agility. And in our rounders lessons, we were focusing on being good fielders, using the long and short barrier to stop balls. 

It was our second YET club this week andit has been lovely to see all the hard work and efforts the children are showing, great work everyone!
