Music

The children had a wonderful time in their music lessons this week! We have been learning a variety of fun songs and rhymes, building our confidence to sing together as a group. The children have enjoyed using actions and joining in with familiar words and melodies.

We have also been exploring how music makes us move. The children have practised moving to the beat in different ways, including marching, clapping, hopping and dancing. They have worked hard to listen carefully and keep in time with the music.

Another favourite activity has been our musical listening games. The children have been developing their listening skills by identifying different sounds, responding to changes in music and following musical instructions. These games have encouraged concentration, turn-taking and careful listening while having lots of fun.

We are very proud of the enthusiasm and enjoyment the children bring to their music lessons and look forward to continuing our musical learning with Harriet throughout the year! 🎵🎶
