Exploring the world around us

This term, Tawny Owls have loved spending time in our nature area investigating habitats. We are currently preparing an experiment, looking at the microhabitat of woodlice and what better way to understand this science topic than to get our wellies out and go in search.

After making our bird feeders last week, the children were also very excited to explore the habitat of our local birds and offer them the fruits of their labours. Leaving them some tasty treats for the winter months.
