Welcome to the Spectacled Owls class page!

Our teacher is Mrs Parkin.  Mrs Gravel is also part of our learning team.

We are a curious and enthusiastic Year 1 class with a good attitude to learning and a sense of fun.  We always try our best and don't give up if things get tricky.

A few helpful reminders:

Monday

Outdoor PE (please come in PE kit)

Please ensure that earrings are removed on PE days.

Wednesday

Indoor PE (please come in PE kit)

Please ensure that earrings are removed on PE days.

Friday

Reading books are changed today.

 Each child has at least 3 books matched to their phonics group and a free choice book. Their reading scheme book will be changed on a Friday by their reading teacher.  They can also change their free choice book when they want to.

Please make sure your child has their reading scheme books and reading record with them every day so that they can read to an adult when needed.

To help your child learn, you could:

- Talk to them about their school day

- Share books

- Help them with their homework

- Make sure they are in their PE kit on the correct day
