Farms

This week the Little Owls have been learning about farms. In our book talk sessions we read 'Rosie's Walk' by Pat Hutchins and 'Farmer Duc'k by Martin Waddell. The children have been focusing on answering 'who', 'what', 'where', 'why' and 'how' questions. We have also been usuing language to describe characters like the kind duck and the lazy farmer. The children explored farms further during provision time and particularly enjoyed strengthening their hand muscles by milking the cow!
