Moon Child

Our focus text this week has been 'Moon Child' by Sue Hardy-Dawson and Carolina Rabei. This is a beautiful story about Moon Child who delivers magic wishing beans to give the children in the story pleasant dreams. After reading the story we used the illustustrations to infer what each child was interested in based on their dreams. 
Each day we have four challenges around the story. Some of our activities included painting an illustration from the story, created characters with craft materials, pretended to be Moon Child delivering the magic wishing beans and using magnifying glasses to describe scenes from the story.
