Three Little Pigs

This week we have continued our learning about traditional tales by reading 'The Three Little Pigs'. We all had great fun joining in with the repeated phrases and the children worked hard to retell the story in groups. We have also been practising mixing red and white to make different shades of pink. The children have been working hard to improve their cutting skills which we used to add features to our pig craft. 
In maths we have been developing our understanding of parts and whole. We enjoyed using blocks and paint to print different number blocks. We talked about the different parts we could see and how many we had altogether.
We have also been discussing road safety and how we can help keep ourselves safe as pedestrians.
