Welcome Back Week!

We have a fantastic start back to our new Tawny Owls class this week! The children have enjoyed getting to know their new classroom and routines. We have focused our learning around the book, The Koala That Could, exploring a positive growth mindset approach to learning and how we grow our learning brains. We have developed our understanding of adjectives in our writing to describe Kevin the Koala's character and have identified how we can work on our growth mindset to improve our own "I can do this!" approach to learning. We have jumped straight into our year 2 maths journey this week by beginning our learning on our place value unit, the children have loved our practical sessions using manipulatives to support their learning.
